• Monitor and maintain maintenance oriented automated databases and systems.
  
• Monitor, maintain, input and update the maintenance-automated databases supporting The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) and The Army Maintenance Management System — Aviation (TAMMS-A).
  
• Research and evaluate artificial intelligence applications software and tools. Design, develop, prototype, and test artificial intelligence systems applicable to the financial management and inventory control of both major and secondary supply items. Provide input and recommendations for the implementation of an operational system on either a microcomputer and/or mainframe platforms.

• Analyze impacts on proposed business process improvement/reengineering.
  Evaluate AIS design and articulation of functional requirements to ensure business process requirements are incorporated.
  
• Review, analyze, and prioritize recommendations for business process change requirements.
  
• Evaluate data element requirements in proposed functional process plans and recommend common definitions in support of data standardization.
  
• Provide advice and recommendations to functional work groups in support of business process improvements/reengineering.
  
• Develop and present reports and briefings on recommended automation initiative and business process reengineering.
