The OPDEC Schedule Assistant combines Microsoft Project navigation, efficiency, compliance, analysis, and reporting tools in a single add-in. It was built by Project power-users to help extract the most use from it: build schedules, input status updates, analyze schedule health, enforce compliance, and deliver insightful reports to bring expertise with a click to your team.

Navigate Tasks:

- The Navigate Tasks tool unlocks the ability to traverse task link chains within the schedule!
- Launch with a task selected then click on the predecessor/successor task hyperlinks to move the visible selection in Project and switch the current task display to show the newly selected task information.
- Your navigation history is stored! Use the Back/Forward buttons to skim through entire task networks.
- The Navigate Tasks tool unlocks the ability to traverse task link chains within the schedule!

Inspect Schedule:

- The Inspect Schedule tool contains a series of schedule health checks broken into three categories: DCMA 14-Point, DECM, and OPDEC.
- It performs the DCMA 14-Point Assessment and the schedule related DCMA EVMS Compliance Metrics (DECMs) in accordance with DCMA’s requirements.
- The OPDEC checks identify other potential schedule health issues.
- Each check can be selected to filter your Project file to show the impacted activities.
- The inspection results can be exported to Excel with a detailed analysis of each check.
- The Inspect Schedule tool contains a series of schedule health checks broken into three categories: DCMA 14-Point, DECM, and OPDEC.
